We're back on Kickstarter! We just launched a campaign for six new products, and we'd love your support if you're in the market for a fancy new peeler, masher, basting brush, tongs (2.0), or spaghetti spoons—whew, that's an earful!

We've been sharing our current Kickstarter campaign for Tongs + Whisks for a few weeks now, but just in case you missed it... we made a Mini and Skinny Spoonula and a Skinny Ladle for all you Ladle & Spoonula campaign lovers out there!
The Skinny Ladle is fast-becoming a team fave, and will ship along with our new tongs, should you be so inclined, in April. We'll have both the new spoonulas (along with the campaign's titular whisks - a Mini and an Ultimate) available IN TIME FOR THE HOLIDAYS!
And for those of you looking for awesome gifts, we created a dedicated reward tier with everything new from GIR that'll ship in time to make it under the tree (or onto the table)!

A HUGE thank-you to all of you who have been waiting so patiently for our ladle replenishment to arrive. You were our holiday heroes, and the time has come to get your packages bundled up and on their way!
Everything has been checked in to inventory at our warehouse, and we're getting packages bundled up this week. If you opted for early 2017 shipping in your BackerKit survey to help us out, or backed at a tier marked for March 2017 delivery, your package is included in this batch!
A couple housekeeping items to help make sure that everything gets to you safely:
1. If you're part of this shipping batch and want to double-check what shipping address we have on file for you, check out your BackerKit profile at https://gir-ladle-and-spoonula.backerkit.com.
2. Surveys have been locked down, so you won't be able to change your address or color selections through BackerKit. If you need to make a change, please email us at [email protected] and we'll help out from our side!
3. If you want to add extra items to your order, you can create a pre-order pledge at https://gir-ladle-and-spoonula.backerkit.com/hosted_preorders. (Unfortunately, the system won't allow us to add to the original pledge directly at this point.) Shoot us a note at [email protected] if you do, and we'll make sure that everything gets into the same shipping package so that you're not chasing after the mailman twice. Also, there's a $5 shipping charge that's automatically added to new pre-orders, but if you're adding to another pledge and shoot us a note as a heads-up, we'll waive it before charging your card.
And of course, if you haven't yet filled out your survey, you can log in whenever you're ready at https://gir-ladle-and-spoonula.backerkit.com and we'll queue you up to ship with this batch.
We're planning to pack all week and start shipping on Friday. When your package ships, you'll get a shipping notification via email (to the address associated with your Kickstarter account). We'll be shipping through the end of the week and into early next week - sit tight if you don't see something in your inbox on Friday. We'll send another update when we're all finished with this batch and everyone's envelopes are on the way!

It’s been a couple months, so it feels like the right time to reach out and say hello to everyone! Happy happy Valentine’s Day from all of us at GIR ♥
Most of you have your ladles, spoonulas, and other GIR goodies hard at work in the kitchen. We’ve been so grateful for the overwhelmingly positive feedback, constructive suggestions, fun pictures, and good vibes you’ve sent our way. Please don’t hesitate to email [email protected] if there’s anything we can do for you. We would also LOVE to see pictures of your tools in action, so find us on Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook if you want to share!
To everyone who so generously opted in to early-2017 shipping to help us out with the holiday crush and ladle stockout - thank you again. You made an extremely hectic December a little less crazy for us, and allowed a lot of fellow backers to jump ahead so that they could give gifts to their loved ones. Pretty cool of you all, and it says a lot about the thoughtfulness and generosity of the Kickstarter community. Still, I bet you’re wondering where your packages are - can’t blame you for getting antsy!
We are just about finished with the big ladle replenishment production order we placed in December, and we can’t wait to get everything into the warehouse and shipped right out to you. Our factory had originally projected a late March finish date for our order, but - knock on wood - it *sounds* like they’re ahead of schedule and might finish production in the next couple weeks. Whoo! We’ll keep you in the loop, but we’re really hoping to get things out to you earlier rather than later — especially in light of how patient you all have been.
If you haven’t received your package yet and you can’t remember whether you opted in to the 2017 shipping batch, you can check your survey answers by logging into BackerKit here: https://gir-ladle-and-spoonula.backerkit.com.
There are also a few backers who have yet to fill out their surveys. We’ve sent lots of reminders, but if you think you’re in that group or that a spam filter is eating your survey invites, that same URL is the right place to check! Use your Kickstarter email to access your survey at https://gir-ladle-and-spoonula.backerkit.com and we’ll queue you up to ship just as soon as we have ladles back in stock (or sooner, if your pledge doesn’t include a ladle).

Sorry for the mass confusion - we were writing two project updates at once, and for some reason when we clicked "send," the Voltaire update about our Ever Cup issue got sent to everyone on the Ladle & Spoonula backer list.
We have only good news for you guys - we spent the weekend prepping packages and shipping spreadsheets, and the first packages will ship out today.

We are shipping all week long, so don't worry if your tracking notification doesn't show up for a few more days. There is a lot to get through, but we're on it and SO excited to hear what you think.
Once your shipping notification lands in your inbox, it may take 24-48 hours for the tracking to start showing progress scans (we generate the tracking number as soon as we label the bag, but the tracking number comes to life once the carrier picks it up and scans it).
